Yes, we believe in God the Eternal Father, his son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

Because of the understanding we have, we may not look upon the characteristic of God as other christian faith does.

We believe "man" is the off spring of God.
God in our sense, is a perfect being with a immortal body.
Some say we are wrong, but logically speaking, why would Jesus Christ born as a man, and resurrected to be a perfect man, and then discard the body to became a spirit? that is illogical to us.

A body , or a perfect physical body , has many advantages over a spirit . For one thing, a body can feel and touch which the spirit can not. So if you like to float around in space eternally as a spirit, I'm sure you don't mind . Personally, I would prefer a physical body so I can do things the spirit can not.

Yes, Mormons believe in God.

No, it's not a "different" God like some of the previous answers were saying. If it were a "different" God, then WHY would Mormons accept the Holy Bible as a means of scripture? Makes no sense.

Check here if you don't believe me.

This is getting annoying. Even I know what the word "google" is. I don't see the point of this question, you don't appear to be attempting to spark an intellectual debate, and this is a question you could EASILY find by doing a basic internet search (which you obviously have, if you can access this site). Do you really WANT people to treat you like you're stupid? If so, I'd be pleased to oblige.

Yes. And that they are destined to become gods.

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God...- Genesis 3:4-5

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! - James 2:19

Yes Mormons believe in God. I am Mormon. I believe in God. I believe that his only begotten son in the flesh is our Savior Jesus Christ.
And we believe in the Bible; it is the word of God.

I often think that the one true god they believe in is Beazlebub/ Satan/ Lucifer...The god or father of lies.
I think if Joseph Smith ever saw an angel of light at all, it was Satan himself.
So yeah, they have false doctrine, and worship a false god.
Not God Almighty, and yes they think Jesus and Satan are brothers/ God Almightys children.
They Think God Almighty has a human body, they think they will attain godhood, by the ammount of Works they achieve, or do while here on earth...They believe that ther are different stages, or like three different levels of heaven.
The best one, closest to God, for those who did the most Works, and deeds...then the second heaven for those who did less, and a third heaven, farthest away from God, I suppose for those, who accept their false doctrines, but do not go out and spread thier lies to others.
Hmmm.
So yeah...I would say their god Is Not my God, God Almighty, who is Spirit, omnipotent, Omnipresent...Who Gave His One and ONLY Son Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for the sins/ sin of the entire world, and that to be accepted into Paradise for all eternity, all you have to do is accept and Believe, that He, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for you, for Everyone...
Cause we are all sinners, God is perfect, and we are all like dust.
No matter how many Works, nor Deeds, we will never be nothing but well, mud, as compared to GOD Almighty.
I don't know...How can we Christians follow that?
Because we , who are true believers, have felt the presence of God in our hearts, in our lives, and in our very soul.
You know, thats good enough for me.
Praise God.
As for the Mormons, may they see the light, and may God, the Lord God Almighty, have mercy on their souls...

Oh uh Kerry, what do you have to do to get into heaven?
or uh, which heaven are you gonna get to go to and why is that?
Can you give me Biblical Scripture, which says God Almighty has a physical body...???
and how bout the same, which says Jesus Christ, and Lucifer/ Satan are brothers, infact Gods children...
And where does it say, anyplace in the Holy Bible, that God Almighty has a wife, and who is she?
Mother earth I suppose...
Sorry Questioner.
I will probably get bumped fro this...But maybe it will be worth it?

Hey mormons think they are god. They believe that if they are righteous enough, when they die, they will be the Christ of another planet. I kid you not. They believe that Christ was a man from another planet who inherited earth as his domain, as each of them will in a future life. Weirder than Star Trek and they are richer than Mike Dell. Go figure.
No stranger I guess than that dude in Argentina who convinced his followers that he was both Jesus, and the anti-Christ at once, and had them tattoo the numbers 66_ on themselves. People will believe anything, but the truth in the real Christ, Jesus!
