In church after church all across America, people are beginning to discuss the sobering reality of the war in Iraq and they are coming to the conclusion that it is an unjust war that we should never have entered.
Priests and ministers are quite surprised by this emerging admission among their church members.
While they usually think our presence in Afghanistan is justified, they are altogether unsettled about the justness of the war in Iraq.
Many have even stated that they thought all of the tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and fires we've been experiencing since the Iraqi invasion are God's way of telling us that we have been wrong about attacking Iraq.
I read all of this at my doctor's office, but I'll have to go back to look at the magazine title and date.

The crazy weather is related to our love of cars, air conditioning, factories and filling our world with toxic chemicals.
The rush hour train and bus bombings in Madrid and London, those we can blame on the invasion of Iraq.
But whatever it takes to get the U.S. out. We've proven ourselves unable to improve the situation any. Continuing our presence there is just prolonging the problem.
God help the Iraqi people.

"I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half of the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth." -------Thomas Jefferson
"In every country and in every age the PRIEST has been hostile to liberty; he is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own." – Thomas Jefferson
"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and importers led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." ------ Thomas Jefferson

What a mess we are in over in Iraq.
But I do wonder something. I've seen God many many times take something bad and change it to make it for his good. I wonder if this war has stopped some terrorists. If it's possible that the US had killed some that were planning to attack the US more. I just wonder. I'm not saying this war is justified.
