My mom about an hour ago, my dad last night because he's out of town and thats when I was talking to him on the phone. We tell each other that about 10 times a day, LOL.

almost never, we all love each other but it was something that just didn't get said! My grandmother didn't tell my mom and she didn't tell us. If there ever was an emotional moment in the house where it did get said it was just uncomfortable! I'm breaking the cycle by being loving towards my kids and telling them what they mean to me often.

yesterday when I talked to my mom on the phone. I talk to her twice a week because I'm close to her. I always say it before I hang up. I don't say it much to my Dad though. He's a different kind of guy.

in my family, our actions speak louder than our words.

simple things to show them i luv 'em like personally made cards w/poems written inside. any gesture coming from the heart shows and tells them i love them in a big lasting way.

My mother died of cancer in 2002 and my father died in 2004. I look at their pictures and still tell them I love them. They were married 53 yrs.
