My scanner creates 1 page PDF files at a time. How can I combine several files into just one?

There are free utilities available that enable you to combine PDFs; there's no need to buy Adobe Acrobat or any other commercial software. Download PDFLab or Combine PDFs.

You will need the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not just Acrobat REader) to do this.

You can also try finding out if your Scanner can save the files in another format. Most have JPG, GIF, and other image choices.

What I do is to scan in the items I need, saving them as JPG images. THen I put them one at a time into my word processor. Lastly, I use a utility called PDF995 (www.pdf995.com) to create a PDF document.

PDF995 is a FREE utility. It works like a print device.

For merging multiple PDF file into one single file then you can use PDF Tool. This software can not only merge the file but it can even edit, create, split, join, the file with an ease. The bets part of this software is that it doesn't need any additional software
