Senario: Mom and Dad speak zero English. Clearly they have not qualified for American citizenship via any legal process. They are shopping and using their oldest who is appxy. 10yr. old as the translator. The mom is pregnant and there are a total of 4 (stairsteps) children in tow. These parents continue to grow their family. They evidently do not fear that they are risking separation or jeopardizing the security of their family in doing so here in the US since they continue to expand in number. Legal citizens of this country do not feel comfortable nowadays, and with the economy the way that it is, having 3 or more children. What makes illegals comfortable having so many children?

They are making it more difficult by saying it's tearing families apart. Their children are free to go with them. They don't want that. They can leave them with a legal relative or guardian here. They don't want to do that either. Now how many American citizens who have children and commit a crime gets to tell the judge, "na....I don't want to go to jail, I have children who need me." How many judges sit down and figure out an easy punishment so your family can continue status quo doing whatever it is they do "for the children"?
NONE....they take your kids, they're put in a foster home or whatever and some try harder than others to see if there's a family member to take them but your butts going to jail. No one cares if you robbed the store to care for your mom who has cancer who is living with you or that your husband just split or whatever....having children doesn't exempt you from obeying the law. When's the last time they had a study of the emotional impact on a child who had the police come to their house and rip them from their mother or father as they watched them being cuffed and hauled away while the neighbors watched and then taken and dumped with people they don't know.....none I know of. So I don't get the big deal especially since so many tear their own families apart by comming here in the first place. If "family" was so important then why are they also pushing with the amnesty to have "the rest" of the family brought here? If children were so fragile then why on earth would they turn them over to a coyote who rapes them and crams them in glove compartments of cars or walks off and leaves them to die in the dessert? That is traumatic. Deportation is a walk in the park and it was THE PARENTS CHOICE to break the law to begin with and they are USING children as an excuse. I was watching the LA fall-out on video. The moms looked like chickens trying to get all the babies gathered and going in one direction. (not ment as an insult at all) But there were MEN grabbing a child and putting them in front of them like a shield. Made me sick.

I don't care how many children people have as long as they can care for them and raise them properly. Just because you can have children doesn't mean you should. More doesn't mean better in this society.

They have so many children because we PAY for them. Your tax dollars pays for their education, medication, habitation and sustenance. The more they have the more they are entitled to.
The children are called anchor babies that anchor the parents to the US. Even though the parents know that they can be deported they also know that their children, when they reach 18, can sponsor them to become citizens. There is no downside for them. Our elected representatives are allowing this. They speak with forked tongue. On the surface they say they are for immigration reform but they lie. If they really wanted reform they would have to do away with the incentives that keep them here.
HR 4437 would have eliminated most of the incentives, like anchor babies, but the Democrats in the Senate would have nothing to do with it. They introduced their own ill conceived bill which would have rewarded them even further. As a result, absolutely nothing got done and nothing will get done until we get ALL of the pro illegals out of office.

If you're referring to people with a Hispanic background, their religion is their primary reason for having so many children. The 14th amendment is being warped around to benefit illegal aliens as well as their employers and our poilticians.

If illegal aliens only come here for a better life they should follow the law and respect the policies of our nation. Those who are here illegally and continue to do so should be deported as well as their children. The 14th Amendment is being abused and it's time our laws are enforced and our rights as Americans remain.

in spite of if one believes that illegals should not be deported for being right here, what related to the flaws they do as quickly as they get right here? They get jobs with unlawful social secure practices numbers. They probable lie on all varieties of legal papers because of the fact they don't have a legal social secure practices variety. how are you able to legally purchase a house or a automobile in case you have not have been given a valid social secure practices variety? it is the reason they might desire to be deported. it is not in basic terms the actuality that they are right here. it is the actuality that as quickly as they are right here, each and everything they do is prohibited. And the worst area approximately it rather is, they don't care. They make our u . s . seem silly because of the fact we are allowing human beings to interrupt our regulations daily, tens of millions of circumstances over. i'm unquestionably embarrassed to stay in a rustic that helps regulations to be broken like this and does not something to resign it.

No, the parents can still be deported and the children left behind. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/05/01/eveningnews/main2750102.shtml

These folks aren't thinking about the consequences of their actions when the break federal law and enter the US illegally. This is sure to have devastating effects in the years to come when families are torn apart due to deportations of parents illegally in the US. you can feel sorry for them on the one hand, but on the other -- Their breaking the law.

Only in a rhetorical sense. Legally they can still be deported. Frankly, I think it's absurd to divide families in that way. The claim a parent has on thier child should outweigh the claim the country that child happened to be born in has on it - and they should be allowed to take thier kids home with them.

NO! Anchor baby kids don't give the parents any extra rights.

Illegals don't give a crap about the laws, otherwise they wouldn't be here. THEY are risking being separated from their kids. I isn't the governments fault if that happens. It is only THEIR fault because they broke the law.!

no. anyone born on US soil is automatically a US citizen. But their parents can be deported. It is the parents who are the problem if the family is broken up then.
