I want to know why God made the spiral formation on my thumb, middle, ring, and pinky finger, but my index finger has the wave formation.
What gives?

None. This is why twins do not have the same fingerprints. We have a program to create ridges, but the pattern is not programmed. Since people can be identified from their fingerprints, there is information in them that arises from no template.

Can you imagine the poor police depts, before the advent of modern electronics, such as the fax machine and internet capabilities....how did they describe a suspect's fingerprints accurately over the phone or wire?
