For me, yes...If I'm actually interested in her I have to look into her eyes. The eyes are the windows to the soul--I believe anyway. However, some guys will use the technique to get closer to the body--not the soul. Experience and intuition provide the wisdom to know the difference.

It doesnt necassarily mean anything. A lot of people tend to look other people in the eyes. Some men could be interested in you, others may not though. You need to look at more than just if they are looking into your eyes. Look to see if they are smiling too, do they have a warm look to their face. Do they act friendly to you. When a guy likes someone and doesnt just outright say they do for what ever reason, they still do many things to let you know, not just one thing. Plus, if you're interested in them, dont be afraid to make the first move, you'd be surprised how many guys like a woman willing to do something like that.

I think this rather depends on the fellow's personality. I mean, a fairly shy chap may well shy away from looking at you because he has no idea what to do or how to follow through. A more confident guy may well look you straight in the eye if he finds you attractive.
Being looked in the eye is probably a good sign, anyway.
However, I always try to look people in the eye when I speak with them anyway, regardless of attraction, so it can mean anything or nothing!

Not really, looking at you in the eyes could be considered flirting but realize if you're talking perhaps they are trying to be polite and give you eye contact. Look for multiple things guys do you can't base it solely on eye contact. Does he seem shy around you? Does he look at you and then when he notices you are looking back he looks away? That's a good sign.

It conveys some level of confidence. They might be waiting for the right sign from you.
Others, who don't look at you, may also be interested, but don't want to make it obvious. Maybe they also need a sign to encourage them that their efforts won't be punished by rejection and ridicule.

I think it depends on a lot of other things too, including body language.
It's just polite to look someone in the eyes when talking with them.

Some people are eye contact people. They have to have eye contact when speaking. I hate it when some one won't look me in the eye when we speak. I'd say that you need more signals than just eye contact to know if he's interested.

Sometimes....it depends on the personality.
I used to be very shy before I got married and had a hard time looking directly at women who I found attractive.
So, you have to mix what they do with what their personalities are.

The eyes are the first thing I look for. To me, this can tell a lot about a person.
Hope this helps
