to expand on the above:
RADM(Lower): one Star
RADM(Upper) two Stars
VADM: three Stars
ADM: four Stars
Fleet ADM: 5 Stars..we currently do not have any 5 stars, and probably won't ever again.

There is no such thing as a "1" star admiral in the United States Navy. Both 0-7 and 0-8 wear "2" stars. They've even done away with saying "upper" and "lower" at the end of Rear Admiral because of the confusion it caused.

Rear Admiral Lower Half (Commodore)
Rear Admiral Upper Half
Vice Admiral
Admiral
Fleet Admiral.
Yes.. I think the Lower/Upper half thing is stupid.

In Canada it is:
Commodore (one star admiral)
Rear Admiral (two stars)
Vice Admiral (three stars)
Full Admiral (four stars)
Canada only has one four star officer at a time. That person is the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) much like the head of the Joint Chiefs.
