How long (per day) do YOU stay outside and tan? I've been trying for the past two days (tanning between the hours of 9 and 10 am Central, using an SPF 15 tanning oil) and have LITTLE results. Any help?

Tanning bed, 7 minutes two times a week, professional tanning lotion, no SPF.
Person above me... you shouldnt tell her to start at 20 minutes, you are going to make her burn! You should be starting at 4 minutes if your skin is fair and prone to burning, 6 minutes if its not, and working your way up. Never ever burn.
Still outside? Use a professional outdoor tanning lotion (can be found at tanning salons) and no SPF between the hours or 11 and 1. And dont just sit there. It will be so much better if you actually do something. It takes about a day to actually start seeing the results of a tan.

I don't, I love my skin the way it is...it's very dramatic looking. Even if I plan to go out for a short while I lather my skin with sun block. If I want a different look, I invest in some high quality sunless tanner.
Sure tans can look nice, but I'll be the one laughing in 20 years since I'll be skin cancer free with soft, healthy, young looking skin. :-)

not long if i go in the sun, im in the sun. but i dont go out and try to tan. personally i think its a waste of time. i have naturally fair skin and get freckles and i burn wuite easily.
