I have noticed that you never get pork dog food, why is that? are they not meant to eat it?
Also my dog keeps stealing bags of crisps and eating them, is that harmfull to her?
also, last one i promise......she seems to like eating fruit alot, lately she has been munching through apples, mango, and lychees, thats ok for her, isnt it?

Pork can cause pancreatitis in dogs. Crisps are not good for her. I recommend putting them away in the cupboards or a pantry where she cannot get them. Fruit is okay sparingly, but it is high in sugar (especially the ones you are naming) so not too much. You may want to switch over to some vegetables as treats too. They are healthier than dog bones, and lots of dogs like them. Carrots are my dog's favorite.

There are pork based foods, but not too many. Pork is pretty fatty, and can cause them problems. Usually pork based foods are for dogs will allergies and have problems with other meats.
I don't know what crisps are?!?
Fruit is good, as long as she doesn't over do it and end up with diarrhea all the time.. Fruit and veggies are great for them.

1. Pork is OK, as long as it is well done, not raw. It is more fatty than other meat, but if you remove the fat there is no problem.
2. Crisps are OK, in small quantities though, because they are very salty and fatty. They are junk food for humans and equally junk food for dogs. Make sure they do not contain onion and garlic though, these are toxic to animals.
3. Fruit is OK if she likes it, and if it doesn't give her diarrhea, except raisins and grapes, which are toxic to dogs. I don't know about lychees, but they taste a bit like grapes so I would avoid them unless you check at www.aspca.org

My dogs have eaten bits of pork, cooked, and not a lot of it, but it won't hurt them. Crisps are much, much too salty for a dog and your dog shouldn't eat those. Fruit in moderation is good for your dog - she'll get diarrhea from too much of it, though.

Yes - There is something with pork. I have a friend whos dog went into convulsions and because she fed them ham. Only one had the reaction and I have given pork to mine before but I am leary now. Apparently its not every dog everytime so I just don't give it anymore.

It is easier for pork products to contract bacterias than other meats. That is why it is rarely used. You can make pork at home and give to dog if you want though, but it is not recommended. Yes, those fruits and veggies and great for your dog. Also try bananas, peas, and carrots. My dogs love them.
Things not to give your dog are:
grapes, raisins, onion, and garlic.

Dogs should not eat RAW pork, for the exact same reason that you shouldn't.
