Comparing "good looks" between a man & a woman isn't fair. Women are by far better looking than men.
If your afraid he's "out of your league", Don't be. He's looking for an online realtionship why? He probably has personality issues that offset his looks.
Besides, like another answer said, How do you know it was REALLY HIS PICTURE?

I think an average/pretty person and a very goodlooking person go together well. They don't try to out-compete eachother. Two beautiful people together just spells trouble. Just go for it. What have you got to lose? Probably more to gain.
