It sounds like you are not sure if the relationship is going to work or maybe he is the one who is not sure. You didn't say who's idea this was. "Moving in" is like a trial marriage and if either of you don't like what happens you think you can just move out. Sometimes breaking up a live in relationship can be just as traumatic as breaking up a marriage. You need more time and do a lot more talking before doing either one. Also a lot of men will put off marriage if they can get the benifits of marriage without the legal commitment.

Well, moving in before marriage let's you have an idea of what it is like to live with that person before making the big commitment BUT..........you should already know if you truly love that person and it shouldn't take having to live with them. I'd say it was the right thing to do to wait until after marriage

This is the wayI feel I believe it is better to first move in with someone before marriage cause then you get to really really know them before you get married. Not alot of people agree with me on that, but that is old fashion marriage before moving in and marriage before sex. You really want to know someone, before you do marry them, cause with the divorce rate now a days it is a horriable thing going through the divorce, even worse if you have kids and bring them into that mess. So my thought on that is move in b-4 marriage. You really don't want to get married then move together and 5 or 10 years down the road you can't handled that they are royal pigs or they are just lazy or anything else that bugs you, that you just can't live with and then end up in a messy divorce. i really hope that helped a little.

definitly before as like all will tell you try before you buy. I agree that you can love the person before moving in for sure but you need to know them too. Love is not always enough if believe there are a million and one other factors once you live together.

FACT: you can NEVER know a person thoroughly before living with them. The things you can discove after living together are suprising.

I wish you all the best

After definitely. I'm going to go visit my GF in Florida but I'm not going to live with her. You dont want to do something stupid. Say for the sake of argument, it didn't work out for you two, but then you found out you were pregnant (assuming you don't ordinarily do that stuff) then you would probably have to stay together for the baby's sake, and that would change you life forever all because you "just had to move in with him".I wouldn't recommend you move in.

Living with a stranger is always an eye opening experience. It should only be practiced by people mature enough to handle the consequences in a mature fashion. If you don't know what that means, you are not mature enough to handle the consequences.

If you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Be filled with God's Holy Spirit so you will have the discipline to crucify the flesh and, subsequently, be raised to new life. Grow the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and especially, self-control.
