My daughter is getting christened on the 29th July. She'll be 13 months old. I'm having a BBQ party and inviting loads of people over. Any good ideas for homemade outdoor decorations or things like that?? We're 'pushing the boat out' on this lol.

You could plant a blossom tree to remember the day by and have a little ceremony, sounds cheesy but you and your daughter can look back in years to come and compare how both have grown, and will also be a talking point at future gatherings :)

Sounds absolutely lovely! Plant lots of little pots up now - with bedding and trailing plants, these will be gorgeous by july and will brighten up the garden and garden furniture no end. They look lovely with a few candles around them and some fairy lights strung along the fence/on bushes/trees too, when it gets darker for the grown ups to stay up chatting/drinking!
