I have MRSA Will I never get rid of it?

I have some leg damage for MRSA.I am so afride that I will have it the rest of my life.I take pills everyday for the pain.I cant walk right because of it.People has told me that i may die from it I worked in the health care for 22 years is that where I may got it from?
