Wouldnt need ten million troops. Our troops need rules of engagement which let this kick butt when they need to. Iraq is a little third-rate power and what we are doing there is fighting a bunch of lawless unhumane demons who are perfectly willing to murder children, the elderly, and any other defenseless people who get in their way. They want to inflict a backwards seventh century hellish lifestyle on the Iraqis. This lifestyle enslaves women and treats children as consumeables. It would enslave or murder all who oppose the bizarre teachings of the islamic fundamentalists, and would ensure continious war all the time between Mullahs and their followers who disagree on which shade of black the burkas should be, what kind of paper the qurans should be printed on , etc. What the people who think we can just stuff our fingers into our ears and run home should realize is this: These turds dont want to stop at enslaving Iraq, they want to enslave ALL of us. There is no going away from them, there is no ignoring them. They have declared war on everybody who doesnt totally agree with them and it does NOT matter if you have run home, locked your door and are watching American Idol on your TV. These guys started this, WE need to finish it.

Really? A draft? It think that would create more problems then it would solve. The problem is, that there is nothing to win. It is a civil war in Iraq, and everyone is using guerilla style tactics. If this was truley a war of our Army fighting another army this would have been over years ago. But that isn't the case.

King, Good point, but you seem to have answered your own question. Maybe it was more of a comment than a question?
This of course is a war like no other we have ever been involved in. If we were at war with a country, or even several, we could kick their rear into submission in a matter of hours. However, when it comes to smoking cowardly rats out of a hole, it is very difficult. 10 million troops wouldn't make a difference as long as they have sneak attackers who are willing to murder the innocent in the name of allah.

What is there to win?
America’s Intelligence Agencies and State Department have concluded that our presence in Iraq has made terrorist groups stronger, more popular, and more successful than ever – and has made America and the world less safe than it was before 9/11. Sending 10, 00,000 troops will only create 100,000,000 more terrorists.
When you find yourself in a deep hole, the first thing you do is --- quit digging.

First we need to figure out what it is we are winning by being in Iraq. Bush don't even know, thats why he keeps changing the game rules.

Part of your question was right. Why are we in Iraq?
10,000,000 troops eh?
Just so George Chevron Bush can manipulate the price of oil.

The draft isn't even necessary. A victory could be achieved in a matter of weeks by simply fighting the war instead of attempting to keep peace and bolster a flagging government.

Really?! So we're over there to defeat Iraq?! No wonder the war isn't going so well - we don't even know who the enemy is.

It wouldn't need a draft, just not allowing our side to be hamstrung by congress and the media.
