boiled sounds a bit boring.
in america it,s baked in the skins and served with sour cream and butter. or fries (chips)
but for a change try this. cut each washed and dried potatoe in 4 ths length wise then each piece into 1/2 again making 8 wedges.toss your wedges in a bowl with your favorite spices.
i use a garlic herb mix ,salt and pepper.sometimes i use a small pinch of cayenne for a kick.drizzle olive oil on top and toss about untill all wedges are coated. then put on a sheet pan and into the oven. must watch as they cook and turn to be sure all sides get brown.then when crisp on the outside and soft to squeeze ,(sorry ive never timed them) remove and serve.they go super well with ranch or bleu cheese dressing for dip.
good luck ><>

Any potato is a good potato. If you boil them, finish them off in a pan with some olive oil and rosemary and get them crispy around the edges. Then you can drizzle the leftover olive oil onto the steak...mmmmmmmmm...thanks for getting me hungry!

Normally I would say chips, but the new seasons` Jersey Royals are available and are very good this year. Boiled in well salted water(15-18 mins) and dressed with butter and chopped coriander(leaf).

How about sweet potato fries?? I know it sounds weird but they are good. Just wash, peel, slice the sweet potato into the form you like, long straight, round what ever and then either fry at 375 until done or bake at 350 about 20 minutes. I don't like sweet potatoes but I will eat it this way!!!!
Hey I might have this for supper too. Thanks!! =)
