This is a question I have wrestled with for a while. I looked at great men who have made a difference. Its hard to be relevant without being reletive. I think the keys are having a solid group to fall back on when things get hard that can lift you back up. Another is being constantly in the word and being focused on God. If we are chasing after God with everything we have, everything else seems to fall into place. Also a boldness is required to where you can stand up for what you believe in without any shame. Its not something that just happens, often it takes a while.

Fish... live in the salted waters yet they are not salty inwardly. As believers the Lord lives in us and is the One that should be regulating us according to His Person. Brother Paul speaks in Galations of Being crucified with Christ and it no longer being he that lives but Christ Who lives in him... that the life that he now lived in the flesh.. he lived by faith... the faith of the Son of God Who loved him and gave up Himself for him. The Lord within us is aware of all our environments and if we are those willing to give Him a way in us then I believe He can keep us. Its not just a matter of " our testimony" that is to be uncompromised... but also the Lord's Name. I am a CHRISTian...i represent Christ in my various places. May we all learn to take care of the Lord within us, learn to know His speaking and tastes and preferences through a living daily contact with Him in the word and in prayer.

Start with following that verse "judge not lest ye be judged" and stop trying to shove religion down the throats of all people in the world.

Prayer....

And bearing good fruit at all times. We should never be unequally yolked with non believers but.....we are still part of this society for the time being.....we can't just go and hide up in a tree until we die.
