Dance around it naked; it'll fall out laughing.

Or if you are serious try a can of wet cat food or tuna

I know it's not a serious question, but I once had a cat that was stuck up a tree for two days. It was reported but no one would do anything until he had been clearly stuck in the tree for over 24 hours, I think but it could have been 48, which he was. Only then, the RSPCA would call the fire brigade who promptly turned up (lights & sirens on) to bring the cat down. He was petrified & didn't go up there again!

Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?

Stop throwing the bricks, that is just inhumane and leads me to believe that you really dont care about the well being of your cat so why would it matter if it comes back again? and if I was the cat I would certanly stay up there if I was getting bricks hucked at me.

just put some food out and it will come down eventually. There isnt a need to call the fire department. thats not our job.

They don't always manage to get back down, Ive found this out from experience!
I know this probably sounds cruel and harsh but have you tried trying to shake the cat out?
If its a big tree, borrow a ladder and climb up to where its possible to shake the branch that the cat is clinging to.
Usually works very well and they do land on their feet. It will probably stalk off in disgust without a word of Thanks but that's cats for you!

I hope that was a joke! Im sure it was. Leave him alone he will come down wen he is ready or hungry whichever comes first. Please don't throw things at him you will just make him want to stay up there and if he is feeling a bit scared at the thought of scaling a great height you are just adding to his insecurities. Whatever you do don't set the tree on fire he will have nowhere left to run! And I love trees as much as I do animals too many get chopped down! :)

these people are so mean lol :o)

ok try getting wet cat food and putting it down where he/she can see it and walk away where the cat can't see you but you can see it it is more likely to come down this way if it doesn't work and you can't climb the tree or get a ladder and you don't want to wait for it to come down on it's own (which they do) then call the fire department. If he got up there, he can get down maybe he just doesn't want to because your throwing things at him. So just leave him be and he'll come down when he's ready.

Do not under any circumstances set fire to the tree, you'll end up burning the poor thing alive.

why own a cat if you hate cats? obviously throwing bricks at cat is cruelty. It will come down. What's making it go up a tree? Provide an escape route for your cat under a porch or someplace where it can feel secure and get away from pursuers.

shame shame

Your cat needs to learn how to get down by itself or you will be climbing trees for the rest of its life. Put some food out at the base of the tree and just leave it alone. Eventually, the cat will get hungry enough to learn how to climb down.

He will come down when he's ready, but do NOT throw bricks at the poor thing, you obviously don't like cats. However, please do feel welcome to climb the trees in my garden and I'll throw a brick at you, hopefully, it will knock some sense into you.
