This is a rephrasing of a question I have already asked, as that one is running out of time and I still need more data. Just tell me what you think a soul is. If you think it is what is in a book, say which book, preferably with citation(as to the chapter or verse). If you have your own beleifs as to what it is, tell me about it. It's difficult to define what a soul is. I have come to understand the soul as the "real" you, and it is the mechanism by which God knows and feeds you. If "God is light", or God is like a light, our souls are like a plant essentially. Plants need to absorb light in order to live. The soul needs to absorb the light of God in order to live. When we live our lives by rejecting sin, our souls thrive like a plant in full sunlight. When we live our lives by rejecting God, our souls will eventually die. That is, unless we repent.

Soul exists. Example: When Mr.X dies and his body is layed on a table. They don't say that it is Mr.X which is laying on the table. Instead they say Mr.X's body is laying on the table. Which means Mr.X(the soul) has left the body, the remaining is only his body.
Proof: My friend and an uncle had an experience, i.e they suddenly felt so bad while sleeping and suddenly they saw their body laying on the bed and they where flying up and up but they didn't wanted to fly away and they cried out loudly and somehow was able to enter into their body. It does not usally happen. This is very rare but since this happened it proves me that there is an existence of soul.

It certainly is not something tangible. If it were, it would be able to be observed. There is no scientific data to support the supernatural soul. Consciousness is formed by neural impulses in the brain. Once again, there is no evidence of a soul, regardless of how much "believers" want to delude themselves of this.

The Soul biblically defined is:that which is MInd,Will and Emotion...not to be confused with the Spirit,which is the "inner spiritual Heart" or "real you"

According to me soul is an imaginary thing,because nobody has seen a soul yet.it simply depends on our mind if you there is soul then there is and if not then there is no soul.So you first have to decide whether it exists in your mind or not

I THINK A SOUL IS BASICALLY A SPIRIT THAT GOES TO ONE WORLD SUPERNATURALLY WHETHER IN HEAVEN OR HELL. ( A SOUL IS WHERE YUOR IMMMORTAL SPIRIT GOES)
