ndler's lift!!!
We recently bought a new sofa and she wants me to struggle up the stair case to our flat. She says taking it up the Schindler's Lift would be too painful and may block access for the rest of the residents!!!!!!
Funny thing is, I'd have to go up the back passage to get to the stairs anyway.
Should I just give in and do it the way she wants me to?

I don't think that the Schindlers lift has been designed for such purpose. I was quite interested in the point that you would STRUGGLE on the stairs. Clearly you are the wrong man for this job. I think a healthy man would have no problem dealing with the stairs. Perhaps you should go to your local GP and ask for advice on your inability to perform the task. A rope with noose may help in your case.

i agree with Peter K, and do it how she wants, for god's sake or you may never hear the end of it, always give in, tis so much easier in the long run
