i want to know how to open locks without breaking it if i don't have a key. can you suggest any book that i might read for instructions, or maybe, if you are a good person who knows how to, then maybe you can share it with me.

it's just that i think i need the skill for my ideal job,, (not a thief ok)

How old are you? You wanna know what? The only job that would require those credentials is a thief...

Your excuse sounds thin, all locks have keys, if you dont have a key it normaly indicates you have no right or permission to open the lock or be in that location.

If observed by anybody doing this they might call the police and you will have some explaining to do.

Many locks are not pickable and even being found in possion of wire, hairclip, strip of plastic, etc...etc.... I believe is in itself an offence in some states in the USA and cause for enough suspicion for you to be arrested.

If you are thinking as working as a Registered Locksmith then you will receive adequate suppervised training in opening locks.

You need a tensioner to to put pressure on the lock and a hair pin to move the tumblers.
They have a totorial on howstuffworks.com. It tells you how to pick a lock, but says that much practice is needed to really be any good at it.
