They possibly feel that when the 'Yankees' have absolutely no qualms about calling the United States 'theirs', after stealing it from the native Americans, they need not worry at all about their much smaller case of usurping.

What a load of crap, history is not one your strong points. Before there were imaginary borders created by men, the Mexicas, a tribe in central Mexico, settled and built what later became Mexico City. There were other tribes, the Toltec loved to make war on the rest of the neighboring tribes, they gave the rest of the Mexican tribes the reputation for sacrifices and bloody religions. The Aztecs got a lot of knowledge from Toltecs and they did engage in some trade with the Maya. The Inca were too far away to ever deal with the Mexican tribes in any way. Check a map and see where Mexico is located in relation to Peru.

I don't see why anyone has the right to call any piece of land "theirs" it really belongs to nobody, even if you purchase a piece of property and pay the taxes it can be taken by eminent domain. Then to take it a step further no government owns any land, it can just be taken by the next strongest force willing to fight for it. But as far as the Mexicans calling the US theirs, well it's yours as long as you are a citizen, if not go back to the country you are a citizen of.
It belongs to whom ever has control of it at that moment in history.

This whole thing is getting out of control. What people fail to see is that it doesn't matter who had it first, It is starting to sound like two spoiled kids fighting over the same toy. I used to own a house and had a different car.....Should I go back and tell the new "owners" I want them back.....I had them first. It doesn't matter who had it first.....It matters who has it now. We build this great country into what it is today....We need to enforce the immigration laws that have always been on the books but never really enforced. There has to be laws and some order or it would chaos. We can't just open the borders and let everyone in whenever they choose to come. No country does this.

The Mexicans are the descendents of the Incas, Mayas, Aztecs and other Indian tribes, of course these intermingled with the Spaniards, but still, most Mexicans have a very high percentage of the "native American" blood. Who can say that about the Americans? They managed to kill most of the Indians before they even had a chance to mix with the newcomers from Europe! So - nope, Mexicans were not the ones who were stealing - the ones from the north were the ones who stole big portions of North America from them later on...

Well for one the Mexican people racially ARE the Mayas and Aztecs (Incans were South America). What I find funny is that Mexico won their war of independence from Spain in 1821, and lost all of the southwest between 1835 and 1848. So their entire claim that the country is "theirs" stems from Mexico owning the land for 20 years or so. Not Spain, who owned it for 300 years before, or the US , who owned it for 150 years after, or the Indians who lived there for 10,000 years. Nope.. 20 years means it's theirs for the rest of time?

Mexicans are the Aztecs cross bred with the Spanish. Technically they're the decendants of the original Americans.

they screwed up their country(old Meccaco) and now they are intent on doing the same thing to America and if we do not take drastic measures these things will come to pass. Americans should start cleaning their own homes and start mowing their lawns and send these ungrateful people back to old Meccaco. One of the reasons the republicians lost the Senate was President Bushs lax stand on immigration. Anglos rise now.

Ask them about the land they stole from Guatemala and when they plan to give that back. Ask them about the indians they killed and indian monuments they destroyed. Ask them why indians are still oppressed and why there is so much racism against indians in Mexico. They love to talk about being descended from indians when they are in the US, but call them an indian in Mexico and you might get punched in the face.
Dimmak, if the land was ceded in a treaty, doesn't that mean Mexico has no rights to it? If you sell your car to your neighbor, how do you claim it is still yours 20 years later? Seller's remorse does not equal "ancient indian descendant mythical rights". I'm descended from indians, too, 1/16 cherokee, to be specific, but that does not mean I get a piece of Oklahoma. A whole bunch of Americans have some indian blood, ditz. Means nothing.
