If we say 2 as a unit so the answer is 1010
OR
If we say 2 as a value it will be (5.5) for just 1
so 2 of 5.5 =(11)
so the answer for 10 +10 = 110
I hope I'm right

okay, I know that you want me to "get" this, but I got nothing!! I suck at math...sorry. ;-)
however, from the looks of your equation...God, that word makes me have a glazed over, blank look LOL... if 2+2=22, then 10+10=1010, right?

Yea, but since 2+2 DOESN'T make 22, you don't have to worry about 10+10!

If you are going by number patterns, then it should be 1010?
But you did not give enough after 2 + 2 = 22, so I am assuming that it's going by number patterns.
