I have recently been having problems with my computers internet security program. I rescaned my computer and updated the software and now when i go into protected sites before it loads it always says that the security certificate has expired or is not yet valid. I have went in to a number of sites and still the same message. Is it my computer or is the websites. Even the banks website is the same. Would this have somthing to do with my internet security program. Norton is the program i use. thanks

If it's not an incorrect system time/date, it's Norton. These programs ask all the time if you want to block x program or y process and people think that if they don't know the process they should block it, overestimating their understanding of what is normal background activity for their computer.

It sounds like Norton has blocked one of the dlls which process SSL encryption (that certificates need) which is why you are getting warnings about certificates being after their use-by date (or before their use-after date). Try to reset your software firewall and get it to ask it's questions again, and the rule of thumb should be if you *don't* know what it is, *allow* it, not vice versa.

before everything examine the date and time of your pc. If one or the different is incorrect, you will get that distinctive message. If the date and time are superb, you need to touch the region administrator and ask relating to the undertaking. you additionally can pass to pass on your internet browser's protection settings and decrease the ordinary protection stages yet that should pass away you susceptible to malware and easily isn't extremely helpful.

Security certificates are todo with the website you are visiting. Have you viewed their certificate to see what the date is on it?

Check your computers date setting. I have seen this and if your clock/date is set wrong this will happen every time. The certs data is compared against your system date.
