Hi there Angelkiss, I am shy and not very confident, but I have a very good knack for disguising it. When you can find the ability to do this, then you will be able to, overcome some or all of your shyness and build on your confidence.

It depends on who I am with. With friends I am lively and out going, and have no problems speaking to new people when out and about. When it comes to people like my doctors, my bank etc, I go all shy, and want to hide away. I think I worry about saying the wrong thing.

Depends on the context. I can give a speech in a large auditorium but I'm really nervous the few times I have actually been on the TV.

I'm very self-confident, but used to be painfully shy. I just grew out of it.
