She was killed in an accident - they arrested Daniel, Phyllis' son, because they assumed he was drunk driving (he had a drinking problem), but it turned out Cassie was the one driving. Biggest shock of my life that they killed her off - she was one of the few characters that I liked, and I'm an old girl.

Cassie died in a car accident. She was driving Daniel home from a party and crashed the car. Daniel was blamed for Cassie's death because he was drunk. Cassie was dead, so she couldn't defend him. It turned into a whole trial, and Daniel was cleared, because it was found that a piece of a shoe was found underneath the gas petal. The piece of shoe fit the piece that was missing from Cassie's shoes that she wore that night.

Daniel got drunk at a party, Cassie was sweet on Daniel, she drove Daniel's car-was going to take him home-but since she didn't know how to drive, she crashed the car and died. Daniel was accused of drinking and driving for about a year, he and Lily even ran off, but it was finally discovered Cassie had been driving.

Well i a nut shell she wuz at aparty wit danieal and she liked him and they were haning at the party and danieal got drunk and cassie drove them home and she crashed the car and got injured then died and before she died she wuz trying to tell her parents who drove the car but she died and they thought it wuz danieal bit it wuz not and nick wuz witholding evidnce from the case that would set danieal free but final he let the evidance and danieal wuz free but before all of that eh wuz on the run wit lilly cuz lilly blived him that he did not kill cassie but in the end nick and sharron foudn out the truth and through out the show they jus do little thing to rember cassie like they have cassies corner in the cofffee place and they celebrate her bday and sharron gave the coffee gouse to kevin and makenzie bucz she wuz finaly ready to let go.

she died when she was driving daniel home because he was too drunl to drive. she wrecked because she didnt know how to drive. she lived for a few days and then left the hospital to find daniel because she liked him and she was took back to the hospital and died
