How do I configure wireless file transfer on two of my PC's?

I am tired of using flash drives to transfer files from my desktop to my laptop (Both HP). Please is there a solution to this? Thanks in advance.

Are these both connected to a network? (connected to the internet?) If they are all you have to do is setup the local network and transfer the files. (you can use the network wizard if you have XP etc) Basically all you have to do is set the workgroup to the same name and share the folder you want to transfer between the two machines.

If you do not have a connection to a local router etc you need to get a wireless adapter in your desktop if you want to connect to it directly. You could also use a crossover ethernet cable between the two.
