ok so i apperantly have a ticket that i didnt know about. About my car not having the right plates...well anyways, now that i didnt pay it because of the fact that i didnt know about it. I have been issued a bench warrent. This all happend in the state of Michigan. Now i live in Washington and the warrent is easy to take away because all i have to do is pay for the ticket.
The thing is, i have a plane ticket to go back to michigan to see my mother for mothersday. would i get stopped in the airport and go to jail??? The question is could they stop me and figure out that i have a warrent out, by me flying to and from michigan? because i really want to go but i dont wanna get caught in the airport and have to go to jail right then...

They do not check for warrants at the airport. The only reason that your name would be run through any type of system is if you were stopped because of something you were doing at the airport. So as long as you have no contra-ban or illegal substances you will be fine. Have a nice time with your Mom.

I think that is highly unlikely. The only time they might check you for outstanding warrants when you go to Michigan might be if you were pulled over for a traffic violation.

You pay the penalties for your offense so that the file will be closed.

Regarding your travel, you cannot be stopped for such simple offense.
