I have hit my thumb with a hammer while hitting a nail and it really did hurt. I still had to continue so yes I did continue using the hammer. Be a little more specific and then you will get some real answers from real people. (To quote a phrase).

Some things yes. The pain of having my first child was unbearable but I still had three more. That pain was definately worth it.

I know if I fall and hurt myself, say bash my knee, then I will rub it 'to make it better' when in actual fact it just hurts even more, but I still do it!!!
