The Bermuda triangle is as stated by another answerer the area of the atlantic between the the 3 points of Bermuda Puerto rico and Miami, The same sort of stuff goes on there as in other parts of the ocean however it is a particulalrly notorious part of the planet many a boat still "disappear" in that area however not as many aeroplanes as flight technology has improved greatly since the old war planes used to vanish. Boats however are far more vulnerable to the elements of the ocean the 2 main reasons being...
1) extremely violent storms whip up in no time at all leaving boats to be battered and sunk
2) It is also said that there are huge gas deposits under the ocean floor these sometimes release tons of gas, the result is millions upon millions of bubbles being released into the water any ships passing over the top sink becasue as the bubbles reach the surface there isn´t enough water to support them due (ships float on water not on bubbles)

It's a fairy tale invented by a guy who made a ton of money off his books (Berlitz). He contended that an alien race was living under the ocean there and playing with the magnetic field etc. Another book (Bermuda Triangle Mystery - Solved) totally debunked all his claims but everyone ignores that one. The insurance companies don't charge any more for ships or planes to go through it so it's obvious that there are no more accidents there than anywhere else.

There is no such thing!
No, really, there isn't. Books like that of Charles Berlitz and all the other woo-woo articles about the so-called phenomenon are based on the erroneous assumption that statistically, planes and ships disappear without established cause with more frequency in that area than anywhere else. When this is actually investigated objectively, it is found not to be the case. There simply is no mystery at all!
Further, when some of the most famous cases, like flight 19, are investigated by competent journalists, like Paul Begg for example, any hint of the paranormal vanishes - there are naturalistic explanations that just do not get covered in the sensationalist books.

In Bermuda Triangle,a very strong magnetic field or any other field is believed to be existing. It simply attracts every object element which comes towards it.
the possibility of a loop existing out there is also supposed and it creates a field around it which absorbs other objects passing by.As far as the humans thing is concerned,it certainly is one of the things behind this and a very strong possibility that people from other planets have entered earth through this.Regarding this, there's a famous place in Chile where evidences are found.
this is yet another interesting subject to discuss btw..
The images on Google Earth have been pretty wired too of the areas in Bermuda triangle.
Check this out...

I thinks its all a myth - the story started when a few boats and planes went missing (sunk /Crashed) whilst in an area near bermuda. They ploted the various accidents and they all fell within a triangle shape. They called it the bermuda triangle.
A few years ago whilst on holiday in miami, my fella persuaded me to go with him on a fishing trip. We set off in this boat with a guide and after about an hour of travelling out to sea, the guide annouced that we were now in the bermuda triangle...I got really freaked, but It was all normal and nothing happened....think its just a load of rubbish.

Bermuda is an island, the triangle is the area between Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Miami. Apparently boats go missing there, but its just a myth. Bermuda is actually really beautiful.

It is said that there is a gravitational pull that pulls airplanes and boats down under the water. There have been several disappearances there ever since it was discovered. Several shipwrecks and crashes. Mysterious huh?
