Does it happen to a lot of people that you associate a song with a particular emotion or experience?

I feel that music tends to manipulate or create emotion and project it on our personal experiences.

I'm a huge fan of Coldplay because i can relate or associate to their most of their songs. What made me like them at first was actually the great lyrics; they make me really think about what the band is trying to say. The beat or rhythm of their songs comes a close second. Every different song from them tugs at my different emotions.

I love how some of their songs are so edgy and raw while some are really lullaby-ish. I watched them live before and man, they were awesome. I felt like i was in heaven. And if we do get to pick an atmosphere for our very own heaven, that would be my version.
