Not as crazy as you think. Here in North Carolina Ric Flair's plotting to run for some sort of political office in 08. I think it's either Governor, Senator, or Mayor. Either way, if it's not mayor of Charlotte, I'm voting for him.
It's not like a wrestler's never considered running for office. Jesse Ventura's a governor and has been very vocal about considering running for the Prez spot. There was another big-named old school wrestler who is governor somewhere I think as well. Anyway, wrestling is a political "sport" that measures success based on charisma. It's no surprise to me that old timers move on to run for office.
