I see where you are coming from, women were treated pretty badly up until a couple of years ago but now there is just as much sexism against men. For example: women can wear pants and shirts, they can also wear dresses and stuff but men are restricted to pants and shirts. Just imagine if a guy walked down the street in a dress. He would immediately be ridiculed. I don't know what you’re talking about with the hair but have you seen girls these days. Heaps of them have short hair. If a guy had long flowing hair he would again be made fun of. And have you seen the amount of stay at home dads these days, the wife is hardly the one that has to look after the baby 24/7 in this day and age. As for movies men are almost always depicted as the big tough muscly guy because thats another stereotype. There are heaps of women action stars like Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil. girls can be the pretty little princess or the tough bada$$ but men can only be the dumb party animal or the weightlifting jerk. And movies are a complete fallacy because they are just a movie and it's all made up anyway. Oh and did i mention that courts almost always go in favour of the mother in a custody hearing. What about all the fathers that are denied access to their kids because the mother has custody and then are forced to pay child support. The double standard in life is terrible it seems to me like society can either go completely sexist to women or completely sexist to men, there is no in-between.

In general, I think it is better to be a man, because men are stronger and taller and can get accurate estimates on car repairs and prices on tools and housing...
They are more able bodied to fix and repair things and look for good deals and make car deals...
They seem to be better cooks as all chefs can tell you...
Men just make a better living and get paid better..
I worked at my job over 20 years and always made half the pay that my husband made at his job and he worked less time than me and had more benefits and vacation...

It's a tough question! But I'd say Men. No pain of childbirth, no periods, no breastfeeding, more chance of a better paid job and promotion in work (even though the world is meant to be more about equality nowadays). Who's at the top of most corporations? Men.

Man. The fact is, mainstream culture of this world is bias to man. In fact, woman donnot share the same opportunity as man. No matter in financial, religious, entertainment and etc, this society is still mainly designed for man.

I think that it is pretty much equal, or at least it is in my family. The only problem I have is that I don't get to spend a lot of time on my own. But my husband regularly has time to himself, so that's one of our arguments. But generally we are pretty much equal. He works to earn the money and I run the house so that he can come home and relax.

I think men have it a bit easier in many ways. However, I would never ever swap the birth of my children or the bond I have with them. They are mine, part of my body and my life. My husband who adores them, and as loving as he is, doesn't have the same bond.
