i just share my knowlege and honest opinions... i never expect "best" answers . however i do get irritated if the askere chooses an answer that is wrong or totally off the subject. some people just dont understand how to pick a decent and right answer....such a shame to the world.
EDIT: here is an example of a bad/wrong answer

Since it seems everybody is entitled treating me as a frustrated person I want clarify better the real meaning of my email. I'm not at all frustrated and I'm not running for the best answer since, as far as I know, there is no prize whichever is the level you reach, but I must admit that I'm rather annoyed when I see people that doesn't take even the time to read the answer to their own question.
You can judge by yourselves how was accurate my response, answering all the points of the question and giving tips and more details, while on the contrary how quick (and wrong) is the answer chosen by the asker.

As posted in my response prices of train tickets in Italy change depending on the category of the trains and therefore nobody can say in absolute which is the cost of the trip from Rome to Florence ect.ect.
The main purpose of my email (that I feel should have been kept private and not object of a kind of referendum) was to advise the asker that the answer she awarded was not the best one...!! Probably I've been too rude but I had spent not a short time to give the most accurate info by answering to all her questions and I feel everybody wouldn't be happy in seeing asker has choosen a completely wrong answer.
Last sentence in my email was clearly a kind of joke. I haven't any black list and I'll go answering to everybody same as I've done till now.

I remember once somebody asked form a translation English to Italian; two replies, one from me (native Italian speaker who lives in Italy) and the other one an *absolutely senseless* translation from an automatic translator; guess who was chosen by the asker...? (I just sent back the "translation of the translation" using the "Add a comment" option to explain how silly was that one...) Alas this happens more often than you may think, and although I can't say the answer you picked is 100% wrong is for sure "problematic"...
Just think, for instance, about this: on your Best Answer, the user said
rome - florence = 14,9 euro
That is true, but does only apply to second class "Regionale", which is a slow train, not much comfortable, and it took 03:37 to reach Florence; meanwhile, faster and comfortable Eurostar cna reach Florence in 01:35 [Intercity (something in-between) 02:27]
Not a small difference!
User answer is formally correct, but very skinny and not really informative, to say the least. Apart from martox, somebody else suggested you how to see the rates:
"went to to the site to check out why you couldnt see prices, and after you enter the information (from-to/date/time) on the site (http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html)... you have to click BUY in order to recieve information about prices etc. There you need to select type of fare. To test it, I put in a standard fare from Rome to Florence and got 33 euro for 2nd class."
So, the answer you chose was not "absolutley wrong", but for sure unaccurate with the risk of misleading you: what if you're in Rome railway station, asking for a ticket to Florence expecting to pay 14 € and then you discover you hav to pay 33 €...?

Well, Martox45 gave you a very well though out and comprehensive answer on that one. Some people will get upset because they get a ego boost out of it. When one puts in the time and effort to give an answer, one should expect to be paid off.

Just don't care about these maniacs.
I normally answer a question to get the best answer points or sometimes just because the question was interesting and being curious I check for answers from others and try to give a new and different one from the rest.
If someone doesn't want to answer your intelligent questions then its their loss not yours.
Cheers babe!

Just ignore jerks like him, it's completely stupid to react that way.
Looking after best answers is irrelevant, what does that bring to you anyway? More points, so what?
Yahoo answers is a typical web 2.0 service and is meant for people to share their knowledge, experiences or anything else they'd like to share! So keep asking questions, choosing whoever you want for best answers and ignore those kind of stupid freaks ;o)

Try to ignore him, or her, and keep on going. I just like to answer to help if I can. If it gets picked as best answer that's just a bonus. Smile.
