Get them and go...sometimes I tell them they're for my wife...sometimes I think they don't believe me...

If the store is out of the way, I'll try things on - otherwise it's grab and go for me. The lighting and mirrors are better in my house than any store I've ever been in and allow me to more accurately see what something REALLY looks like on. No unpleasant surprises that way. Shoes are the exception - I always try those on in the store because I'm super picky and hard to fit. Oh, and lipsticks - I've made way too many unfortunate impulse purchases at the cosmetics counter so now I actually take a minute to make sure the color in the tube looks the same on my lips!

I try them on first, and then I get depressed and go home and leave them in the package for a week or more, before I wear them.

Always try them on first. Clothes can be cut so differently.

I try it all on. I recently made this a rule with my husband and kids because I'm tired of taking back the things I buy them because they don't fit.

i usually try them on first even though i hate doing that. i rarely just get them and go. don't want any regrets. don't want to go back to the store to return it too.
