My three kids.I have a daughter and two sons. All are now in their 30's.They are all happily married with lovely partners and have 8 children between them. They are all buying their own houses and have got good jobs. They all did quite well at school, none of them went to college or university, we couldn't afford it, but I hope we taught them to be polite and respectful and to appreciate a good family life. They have all done well in their careers, both boys have excelled in IT and banking without any special qualifications, done it all on pure ability. All the grandchildren are doing well at school. The eldest grandson will be starting university in the autumn, another grandson is at college and all the younger ones are doing well. They all are polite and have a respect for other people and their possessions and I feel proud that my wi fe and myself were able to bring out own children up to be fine citizens and they in turn are bringing their own families up similarly. I have always felt that the horrible stories that you hear and read about anti social behaviour teenage gangs, drugs ,muggings and the like are the result of poor parenting and in these families the problem will get worse from generation to generation. It will become increasingly difficult for families like my own to maintain their standards.I hope society as a whole wakes up and supports those who are trying to make a decent life for themselves and their children.Again I will Say I'm proud of my kids and grandchildren.

My nephew has passed his exam to get into a posh prep school . His mum is over the moon as he is very brainy and the state schools in the area were just toooo shite and it would have been such a waste and shame if his intelligence went to waste. I am soooo proud of him cos he worked really hard for it and he feels proud of himself (and very relieved!!!!)
Even more proud because he is from the stereotypical one parent family yada yada. Just goes to show that with determination people can break the mould!!!

I'm proud of my 4 Sisters. I think collectively I am very proud that all 4 of them along with myself despite growing up in a Alcoholic Violent home, .........none of them ever got onto drugs, alcohol or smoking, and none got pregnant out of wedlock and are all each successful and highly functioning.
Since the odds were against them, I think they did a great job by having each living with strong morals.
One sister that stands out is my older Sister was a Paramedic for 22 years, and saved many lives, and the horrors of what she has seen never got to her because she has a strong faith in God.
ADDED - Proud of my 2 paternal cousins did 5 tours in Vietnam between them, and both made it home. They were in "I Corps" while there and in the thick of many battles. Several cousins served in military along with my sister in the Navy along with myself as I'm a Disabled Vet, and now my Nephew is in the Army and heads to Austraila for joint training in June before shipping off to Iraq in August. He graduated or "turned blue" at Ft Benning in October.
