Or is it just a case of staying with those services but informing them of new address?

No you would have to change gp if you are out of the catchment area however they may agree to keep you on if you ar not far but wont do out of hours/home visits the dentist is different is it a nhs or private one you would need to check with them

You are supposed to re-register in the new area that you have moved to.

I didn't bother for a few years and then when I became ill it caused all sorts of problems!

it depends on how far your moving
i think you will have to change your
doctor if over three miles because
they will not cover emergency call out..!!

it is up to the doctor and dentist if they want to keep you on thier books if they are happy no reason why not

They don't care how far you have to travel. They aren't paying you mileage! Use them. I still do and I moved to a different city!
