Simple:
1. Run then MS SQL server, create DATABASE, possible create TABLE too.(Back End)
2. Run the VB6 or VB.net.. use VB6 as begin
3. at promt.. use DATA project
4. double click data environment
5. Right click connection, properties,select SQL SERVER connection, SA for authentication, check blank password, select your DATAbase.
6.Click test connection
simple as that friend...
study how to program in vb6 .. its helpfull.. i cant xplain it further it hard...

You are talking about something far too instructive to explain here. People spend months and years in class and pay thousands of dollars to learn what you are asking. In other words there is no 2 minute answer here. You have to go to school.
