Doing good makes you feel good. Feelings are products of our thouths, and thoughts are products of our feelings.
Thoughts and feelings are caused by our actions.
Act good to others and you will feel good about yourself.

All you have to do is take notice and gain a bit of understanding...you will get out of the project much more than you put into it....

Make a list of your positives first...things you want to keep as being part of you. Do the same with things you'd like to make better...listen to your soul sounds while doing this & a good mirror in front of you helps...look at it often while making your lists. And always feel free to add/subtract from either side as you get into the create process.

Now, keeping hold of that which becomes you, and starting with numero uno on the side that no longer reflects the you you wish to be...and change it. Do you not imagine that you have such power? Well, you do...in fact, you are the only one who does...so use it! Once you make the accomplishment of this first item, check it off...you will feel pretty good...keep going down the list untill all are checked and you have added your newness to the other side as your positives....now you're feeling pretty grand to say the least.

It's really an easy task to change oneself...a little effort, diligence, heart, patience...these are virtues you can strengthen along the way...Go for it! Make that reflection in the mirror smile wide & genuine, let your soul chimes ring loud & clear...And Good Journey!!!

Making things better for yourself is the answer. You are a human being and you have a mind that can make decisions, be yourself and enjoy life .Perhaps you could take a course on a new subject, or consider a career move . Do you have unfulfilled hopes and dreams ? If you do take them from the shelf ,dust them down and see if you can achieve something with them.Perhaps if you went to night school you could take a course on Self-improvement.Self Discovery is the key ,it is an exciting journey into the unknown and it is a surprise package, like Pandora's Box !You never know what you may find .Build up your self esteem in a positive thinking programme.

I could say all kinds of great things about you, but none of it would mean anything, if you don't really believe it deep down in your heart. That's where you come in. You must love you before anyone else can love you, and you are worth loving.

If you hear your inner voice saying bad things about you, tell yourself they aren't true. Say to yourself what good things you did recently, honestly, not "oh, I've never saved anyone's life, or been a knight in shining armor, or became the president", or what ever you haven't done. Remind yourself every night of at least one good thing you did today. Go to Oprah's website and find what she suggests for a "gratitude journal."

Here's a smile for you, from a game called "Tumblebugs:" "The glass is half full, or half empty, or it's too darn big!"

Just take a look in the mirror; you are an intelligent, smiling, decent human being who was able to wake up this morning and ask this question from his fellow humans. In addition, I am sure once you read all these responses, you will laugh, cry, get angry, and be thoroughly amazed at the human species which again implies you are intelligent and have a sense of humor. Have a WONDERFUL day today and everyday, as you deserve, you wonderful person you!!!!

I could tell you you or this or that. The problem is it will all wear off and you will begin to feel the same way. The only way you can feel good about yourself is from the inside. Start taking care of your health. Watch what you eat. Exercise. Occupy your time try not to think that you have faults.. Read, become active in life. Don't be something your not... meaning be who you are in all aspects of your life...once you can say hey this is who I am and I can deal with it you will be happy

When your heart is righteous. when your thoughts are clean and pure. when your true nature comes forth. when you know the reason of your existence, when you understand your purpose in life, when your heart embraces "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." you will be at peace. You will walk every step with great compassion. you will act and conduct yourself with an air of great dignity and grace. you will speak with truth. remind yourself to spare a thought for others in every situation. you will be able to differentiate what is truely right and what is truely wrong.
Naturally, without have to act out, every word you say, every thought that come forth will command great respect from people around you.
At this time, would you still care about searching externally for things that make you feel good? :)

That you should be thankful for what is seemingly the most basic needs. Health, a roof over your head, food. Many people in third world countries can only dream of the blessings that you have. They may seem very basic to you, but to someone else, they may be the best gifts they can hope for. Something they dream about.

No not truly. I mean if you want you could get a friend to keep complimenting you. That may boost your ego. But if you really want to feel good, do it yourself. Maybe go exercise b/c it gets your endorphins up. Endorphins are the chemical that makes people happy.

why shouldn't you?
life's amazing, otherwise you're just a pile of carbon, don't squander it on nonsense
start telling yourself 10 things you're grateful for each morning, such as having your favorite coffee, or your loyal dog, or whatever
pretty soon you'll realize your life is bountiful, and nobody's life is perfect
