I help teach my Chruch's Kindergarten Sunday school, and the funniest thing happened.
For some reason a little boy started talking about Bush to his buddie, and a little girl next to them decided to join in.
"Oh, yeah, I know about presidents, the people who tell the news say a lady named Hilary wants to be the next one! My mommy says that she wants her to be President."
Of course, now, their whole table is discussing it.
"My big brother says that if Hilary becomes president, everything will get worser!"
"My daddy say's Bush is just trying to do his job!"
"MY daddy says Bush should be....um....inpeached!"
Now EVERYONE is revealing thier parents political standing.
It was hilarious. We had to put an end to it though. They were starting to get mad at each other for saying THEIR mommy or daddy was wrong, cuz they weren't!
Your opinion?

That's really funny. Kids will be kids, and in many circumstances, they'll mimic exactly what their parents do (or say). I'm just glad they don't know enough about politics to form their own opinions yet; with all those varying views, it could've gotten messy.

This reminds me of something similar I found on YouTube.

Well i believe that our comming generation is outstanding...they are much mature then we could expect them to be...and this is all becuase media has become an important part of our lives....secondly kids do pick whatever their parents talk about ...that day my 5 years old nephew was asking why our prime minister is making soo many visits to other countries...Why don't he just stay in the country And he knows the full name of our president and prime minister !lol ! i guess this politics is running in our genes now !

Monkey see, monkey do!

That is comical, and that is how there early opinions, based on nothing, get formed! I guess they grow out of quoting their parents pretty early. Especially when they would rather run with their peers!
