Personally, I feel Hanoi Jane should have suffered the same fate as the Rosenberg's for her act of treason, or at minimum, been locked in cages and treated to like the American POWs that were held for years.

but the reason she didn't is she was a popular actress from a popular acting family and had a lot of money and a lot clout.

No, she didn't try to end the war, she went to Nam to "expose the atrocities" by the U.S. and military in that country and made life a living hell for many POWs after not only not doing anything when she was shown how they were imprisoned, but passed notes from they had given to her asking for help back to their captors, for which they were tortured even more.

The poor soldiers who after being drafted for a war they did not believe in and lucky enought to survive Vietnam only to come home and be spit on and called "baby killers" when they arrived at the airport, all thanks to Ms. Fonda and her campaign of lies.

Why wasn't Lyndon Johnson held accountable for the fraudulent Gulf of Tonkin incident that led to his fraudulently securing the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution from Congress and subsequently sending the first regular combat troops to Vietnam?

Jane Fonda joined the national effort to end this BOGUS war and she should never have traveled to North Vietnam and been photographed and filmed with the enemy, but her mistake pales in comparison to those made by our elected president and his cabinet which resulted in the unnecessary deaths of thousands of young soldiers, many of whom never even had the chance to experience a physical relationship with a woman or to experience what it was like to be a proud and loving parent.

Jane Fonda entered the anti-war movement to stop this madness and she made some errors in judgment, but everything she was trying to do was noble and being done in good faith.

It's easy for fools like you to try to heap the entire blame for that war on the shoulders of just one person.

Don't try to put the blood of even one soldier on her hands!

TRUTH TO POWER !!!! Pass this message on to your jackal friends.

Dunno. I just hope people don't go see her movies, etc. to make her any money.

And for the couple of people above, she wasn't just trying to stop the war...she was talking negatively about the POW's etc. Regardless of a person belief about war, I'd never wish any harm to our troops and people who do can kiss my A$$. Check out the article about her on Snopes below.
