I believe in forgiving and forgetting though sometimes granted, it isn't always easy. Jesus forgave me so I must do the same. Whenever you harbour a grudge, the only person it really hurts is the bearer anyway and is harmful to your emotional and mental state as well and if carried on too long could quite possibly also affect you physically. I prefer to be happy over bitterness and resentment and letting things go and getting over it and moving on with my life. Good question.

When you keep a grudge you are just giving the offending person power over you. It has been said that unforgiveness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. It's not worth it.

I do not hold grudges. I prefer to forgive and forget. To hold a grudge only makes the hate or bad feelings fester inside you and you only hurt yourself in the long run. And wouldn't you want to be treated that way as well--for others to forgive you ? Do unto others ...... (the golden rule.) and a teaching of Jesus as well. <<< Love your neighbor as you love yourself. We are called to be Christ-like (if you believe) and he forgave anyone and everyone.

I let them go, it takes too much energy to hold a grudge for long.

I keep grudges. It's just that I end up forgetting about them eventually... except the really unforgivable ones...

Somethings are not personal but are instead good policy. What may seem a grudge is just a man treating another in kind for discourtesies already endured.

hmnn..if someone has gone to the lengths necessary to get my attention enough to create a grudge situation, I do keep them on my mental watch list of people to be avoided for good reasons..so yeah..in that respect I do keep them.
