It is an impossibility....

take an extended family .. ( or even a family just a normal family) .... or a large work place... or a social group ... or a form of governing body .. even a church group ...

How often do you see PERFECT harmony ? how much more frequently do you see tension, backstabbing, undermining ...

there will never be world peace while we can't solve minor issues....

Actually I think world peace will always be an impossible dream for as long as we continue to think dualistic-ally. Dualism has been at the root of all judgements pertaining to war whatever side you're on, our side is seen as good the other bad or evil. Is it even possible to escape this dualistic thought process some believe so, I refer primarily to Hindu and Buddhist philosophy. In order to achieve such a state where we lived in world peace would require a dazzling spontaneous outbreak of like- mindedness at the same time all over the world. Is this likely to happen? Only in a utopia.

Ermm, with faith-belief in yourself, and others anything is possible (by chance exactly what my latest blog says too).

I believe when you have truely found inner peace you can only wish the same for others. When we have found in ourselfs, and wish for others then only love will thrive-a lotta lotta love needs to be spread for any chance of that, wouldn't you agree so I shall spread the love with wishes and hopes and dreams for others to discover inner peace, then we have hope for peace as a whole.

The impossible dream will always be impossible if everybody thought just that 'impossible'-positive thinking goes a long way!

I think there will always be some sort of conflict. But maybe, if we are growing towards something..... You could be on to something there. We'll just have to wait and find out.

As far as history dates back there has been wars and all kinds of terrible injustices due to man. But in the past 100 years, it has gotten steadily, much worse- everywhere. So, I think we, as a society are in for the Last Day and then, probably after that, there will be a long period of peace.

Well, world peace is up to us! Its our planet, our lives and our choice as to what to do with them. We simply have to want it and believe in it. We all want world peace, only sick-minded people prefer killing and terrorizing. If we can ever achieve a world unification (no globalization-thats one of the main causes of wars now-days) I think it is possible to bring to life a world-wide "seize-fire" as a start and after that we will see...
But for a start it would be great to close down all military facilities and weapon factories.

There can never be peace because people will always agree to disagree. Varied differences in culture, religion/politics and the pursuit of money continue to stand in the way. The only true peace will exist in the afterlife.

Hi. After 2000 years of a conflict in some part of the world there will never be world peace. In fact some nations don't want it for fear of the unknown.Only after the second cumming will all conflicts cease.
Cheers.

At the end of it all, there will be no world peace, only a piece of the world.

It is an impossible dream, people always find faults and they always want to fight. Keep dreaming though it would be nice.

We can't even stop fighting with our neighbors. Besides, do you really want to make peace with everyone? There are a lot of assholes in the world.
