i download videos in the limewire, and there are type of video next to the title such as avi,mpg,mov,mp4.my friends told me that only mp4type can be transfered(draged into) to the itunes. how do i download other types than mp4 to my ipod from limewire??

This isn't spam. I use this one personally. Try the free one, or purchase their special "iPod" one.
P.S.: I just checked. The iPod should be able to play .mov format movies, too.

you can't itunes does not and will not support anything films or movies that are not MP4 try useing windows media player
