Pick up all the pennies(100 make a dollar),I only walk under ladders(when they're up),and my black cat walks across my path all day. Some times I'll turn the heads up penny to tales and just watch the people walk by and look, just for fun,if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all.One mans garbage is anothers treasure.

Every truth has its own reason and basis.
If you have 1 dollar and give it to a kid, a farmer, a janitor, a president or anyone on the face of the earth, the truth is, it will still be 1 dollar. Superstition however is no basis at all, it would be believed in other countries such as China, (Chinese people are very superstitious), while in most the countries it does not exist.
If you want the truth, being superstitious is not part of it.

I always say that if it is gonna happen ..it's gonna happen.Don't matter if you walked under a ladder or stepped on a crack or had a black cat cross your path.If it was mean to happen it will...however I do have one little thing that I am superstitious about ,if I'm leaving a good friend or relatives,I have to kiss them good bye.Too many time in the past that I did not do that and I never got to kiss them or say good bye again. So now I take no chances.

Hi Fireman, I am Irish so what do you think? Of course i am superstitious. I will not go anywhere on Friday the 13th.. This is one bad day that i stick at home know matter what. All the bad feeling i get on this day. So no way i will stay at home. I don't step on crackes because it breaks mom back. I won't across in front of a Black Cat. I will go a miles out of my way to not cross blackie's path. I don't walk under ladders it will fall on me.I believe in the Irish Banshee Mr. Dead who come to get you at late hours of the night. The thought makes me want to pee my pants, No lie it scares me!!! Don't across a river or stream if the Moon is Blue. You will go under the water and not return. The list go's on. LOL LOL..
A Friend.

Oh my God! I was gonna ask the same question! You did it few minutes ahead of me. Grrrr. Anyway, I am superstitious only about a couple of things: When a black cat passes in front of me I spit three time over my left shoulder and to put off any eye I touch the wood :D
Good one Lt. Dan ;)

I grew up with a lot of weird superstitions, and the Italian side of my family seemed to be forever warding off the evil eye. I don't really believe in any of it, but do find myself "knocking on wood" an awful lot. I guess some things are hard to shake!

I used to be very superstitious, but I have learned that the more you believe in something it makes it more real to you. That is why I make it a point to only believe in good things and I have found that the bad things I used to believe in do not affect my life anymore.

I'm not superstitious at all. I have tried doing everything "right" and I wasn't any luckier then. Now I can't be bothered and I haven't died of picking up tail up pennies.

I used to be superstitious, until I noticed I always had good luck with the # 13 and black cats.
