If it were temporary, my father's mother. She died before I was born but the stories sound like she was a real wild woman and her brother and his family were a lot of fun to be around.
If I could bring someone back from the dead permanently, I'd bring back Gandhi. If anyone deserves immortality, he does and he might have a few tricks up his nonexistent sleeve for our modern problems.

I would bring myself back from the dead. The reasons why are because I want to feel again. I have been numbed with chemicals and booze most of my life. I can't remember what clarity actually is.
Oh, and hello Lexi, tis me Jim..:P

My great-grandmother. She died when I was five, and I barely remember her. She was 93 years old, and I'd love to just sit and talk to her and hear her life story! I know a little about her life and it all sounds remarkable. My family also tells me all the time that I act just like her; have the same habits, same personality, etc. I miss not getting to know her better.

Actually, I'd like to have prevented her from dying in the first place. I hated that the news networks covered her story every minute of the day. She wasn't that important.

John Lennon. As for why, I don't really think why I chose him needs to be explained; it's John Lennon for christ sake!
Also, the father of someone close to me.
That's two, but oh well. I demand a choice of two.

Lord Byron. He wrote the most beautiful poetry and died way too soon.
