Nope, some studies actually point in the opposite direction, that circumcision could increase masturbation. Masturbation is normal and healthy in most people, and circumcision for this reason is rather silly.
Complete removal of the inner foreskin and frenulum would just make masturbation (and sex) less pleasurable and satisfying. Some studies speculate that because each time isn't as satisfying, men will masturbate more to compensate. Guys will masturbate regardless.

No!!!!!!! Masturbation is a sign that a teenager has reached puberty and his body is gonna give him hell for another few ywears or so. Circumcision has nothing to do with preventing masturbation. Your hormones is just working overtime. As women we dont get circumcised, yet we at some point in time do masturbate, its only natural to masturbate. Circumcion is ok in a sense but I have yet to hear what exactly its good for that all doctors will agree on. All the best.

This was the theory of John Harvey Kellogg (the cereal guy) back in the 1800s. He was a real nutcase about sex and refused even to have sex with his own wife even once because it was unclean.
He especially thought that circumcision done as a punishment for masturbation, without anesthesia, would keep guys from doing it. He was a doctor and also performed at least one FEMALE circumcision, at the request of a ten-year-old girl's father, who thought it would cure her masturbation habit.
His theories were total nonsense. Circumcision makes masturbation less pleasurable, but the urge comes from the hormones, not the penis, and in order to get the same level of satisfaction, circumcised guys end up masturbating slightly more than intact guys!
Kellogg, by the way, also favored yogurt enemas and racial segregation.

No, nothing stops masturbation and statistics have shown that circumcised males in fact masturbate more often, not less. Even though their pleasure is probably lessened by the operation, nothing stops the urge. Since it is a normal healty thing for all humans to do whay are you asking this crazy question. Circumcision is mutilation and I'll never forgive those that did it to me.

Circumcision is cruel and unnecessary! Preventing or lessening masturbation is unnecessary. There is no reason to not masturbate. There is absolutely nothing wrong with masturbation! It is a perfectly normal healthy thing done by 98% of men (the other two percent are liars.)
You can be assured that:
- your penis will not get shorter;
- you will not grow hair on your palms;
- you will not go bald;
- you will not go to hell (at least because of masturbating);
- you will not lose your mind;
- you will not become sterile;
- your penis will not fall off;
- your testicles will not decrease in size;
- your chance of being struck by lightning is not increase.
But you will be:
- your penis will likely become stronger;
- more relaxed;
- smiling most of the time;
- a perfectly normal man;
- and you will still produce enough eggs in your sperm.
So keep IT up and continue to enjoy.

No, it wouldn't. Removing the foreskin from the penis isn't going to stop the temptation of masturbation.

Removal of the foreskin will not prevent masturbation.
Men who are circumcised, and men who are not circumcised masturbate. It is a normal activity for the male of the species. It is normal for women as well.

Ditto grannybc.I think this person has just fallen out of the idiot tree and hit every bough,branch twig and leaf on the way down.You didn't say anything about staying clean in your original question,you added that as an after thought because everyone,quite rightly,thinks you are stupid.How about having your vagina completely circumcised along with the clitoris hood,and see how you damn well like it.Airhead.You asked the same question in another language four months ago

The concept of circumcision is an issue of religion and cleanliness and is totally unrelated to masturbation.
I would not approve of it for that reason since there is no scientific study that can connect being uncircumcised to less frequent masturbation.
