Which artists are worth more/keeping? I recently been given 8 boxes of them. Some I love of course and even have in storage a player for them, but don't want to keep all of them.

It depends on the artist, the condition of the record and how obtainable it is. The ones that fetch most are special editions or ones with a defect on the cover which sets it apart. Obviously anything signed would be worth more.
There are books you can get which tell you the value of records and which ones are worth hanging on to.

not much, if i was going to keep them i would only keep the real popular ones that were hard to find. there is a place that buys them on ball/magnolia in anaheim, ca. or go on line and look for records wanted to buy and call them up and sell them. or call used records and collecrtors in yellow pages. they can tell you if they want to buy them from you. I got mine out and sold most, didnt get alot, 2 or 3 dollars at the most I think. i got more for my cassetts.

Even though this is the MOVIES section...it depends on the artist...the album title and the shape it is in..most titles are worth more...it is the artist debut album and they are REALLY famous...The Stones...The Doors...The Beatles...etc...if it won alot of awards..no scratches...etc.
