There is always scope for improvement, however great the player might be.And always someone to fine tune though he need not be a great player himself. It is enough if a coach is able to to spot the weak points and know how to help the player to correct it.

It is said by great people that it does not matter how great a man/player is ,there is always scope for the betterment.
If he is the best player he should not get out at all.Whenever he gets out that ball is his weakness .Every player has his strong and weak points.Any body/player who is strong in the field where Sachin is weak can give him tips, maneovering (adoption )of the tips for the improvement of his game is to be done by Sachin himself.

Accordingto me No. Because he has rised to such a level that only he himself can coach him. Others can just give him ideas or tips on his approach to a situation but not on his technique, because he has played all the shots in the cricket book and he has a strong technique or else he would not have lasted so many years on top nor would have he become famous all over the world.

As far as batting technique is concerned, I do not think that any coach can teach anything to Sachin. However, coach can defenitely help him in his approach to the game, developing the mental toughess, handling pressure situation, human relationship etc.
