He is John Steinbeck. He writes"Our species is the only creative species and it has only one creative instrument, the individual mind and spirit of a man.Nothing was ever created by two men. There are no good collaborations, whether in music,in art,in poetry,in mathematics,in philosophy.Once the miracle of creation has taken place ,the group can build and extend it,but the group never invents anything. The preciousness lies in the lonely mind of a man." Thus His candid truth brings light in the despairing future of perishing humanity. It's a truth blowing not only in America but also perhaps, over rivers Seine,Ganges. His wisdom is magnificently relevant in today's world also.Irrelevantly, even after being an 'argumentative indian', i worship his vision, because he deserves it.
**Finally i entreat answer from people only who have read some of his works .

while i admire Steinbeck, and his works, and i do think he had a great insight into American life ,, i do not agree with this statement,,,,,,,, there are/have been great collaborations,,,,,,, sometimes the meeting of two minds can complement each other,,,,,, and "work off " each other in order to create,,,,,, also the putting together of individual components,, can create something great,, such as in a musical,,,,, the individual music, the choreography, the singers and dancers,, the costumes etc etc,, each one may be good individually,,,,, but the ultimate creation comes from the meeting and working together of the parts
i think this statement of his is an example of something i believe strongly in,, someone may be fantastic, and have great insight, yet that doesnt make them correct always, or always right across the board on everything
also, those who have invented, became famous, during his time, were viewed as individuals, and the creation as solely theirs,, yet we are often finding out now,,,, that wasnt always true,,,,,,,, they pulled from others work,,,,, or in some cases actually had others helping them,,,,,,
